![]() cant see them beating either unless they get some home cooking refs. Those two teams are as good as we have seen in some time. Cavs still feel like they are missing something. Detroit has a nice young team and a great coach.

![]() If anyone saw the Miami game you would know how disgustingly brutal that $660 loss is. Down 2...5 seconds Hornets miss and get an offensive rebound. Miami fouls w/ 3.5 seconds left. They make both. Then Wade misses a chip shot 15 footer at the buzzer. Not that it should have ever gotten to that if Miami could ****ing rebound.

![]() I don't follow the league much since the Lakers are in complete disarray.
But I do follow the Celtics because of Stevens. When he took the job it was expected he would get 4-6 years to build something. I'm of the opinion the league is not the best place where he can thrive. The C's finishing mid-pack each year ruins any chance of them getting a decent player in the draft and the league is all about superstars and the C's don't have one. C's management has historically been impatient with mediocrity and even though they've made the playoffs two years in a row...it's simply not good enough. Next year is crucial that they win a series. If not, Stevens could be gone and that gives a big advantage to UCLA who made a colossal mistake hiring Alford. The Tar Heels also come into play. Williams isn't getting any younger and the tears are increasing. Duke is always in play due to Coach K's health issues. Plus it's expected half the team will leave next season for the draft. And of course the program and fans who probably want Stevens to at least last two or three more years in the pros is IU. Thanks to UK having one of the worst teams in the last 20 years Crean ended up getting at least two more seasons. IU used to be a big program that wanted to win championships. But lately it seems they bought into political correctness and have accepted being a borderline top 20 program on average. I know some of their fans miss winners like Bobby. But they're old and few and far between these days. College basketball needs Stevens. Because there are great coaches near retirement and then there's this guy... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWcKMK6Lcd8 and that program.
