There is one potential superhorse in Australia right now. His name is Efficient and after dropping his debut he has won his next 5 races, culminating in Saturday's Victoria Derby (it is spring down there). In the Derby, he was caught behind horses in the stretch, finally got a seam and accelerated in the space of a few strides to get to the front and win geared down. It was an incredible display. He will not meet older horses until the fall (March, April), in all likelihood; then we will see if he has the potential to be as good as Octagonal or Lonhro.
