My only thing is that I think it's wrong to take Bernardini down (and I'm not saying u are) because he got beaten by another really good horse. As I said before, it happens. Four year old Slew beat 3yo Affirmed then the next year, 4yo Affirmed beat 3yo Spectacular Bid.

I know, some people act like they're never wrong on this stuff when the truth is all of us are wrong the majority of the time. Indeed its a humbling endeavor.

There is one potential superhorse in Australia right now. His name is Efficient and after dropping his debut he has won his next 5 races, culminating in Saturday's Victoria Derby (it is spring down there). In the Derby, he was caught behind horses in the stretch, finally got a seam and accelerated in the space of a few strides to get to the front and win geared down. It was an incredible display. He will not meet older horses until the fall (March, April), in all likelihood; then we will see if he has the potential to be as good as Octagonal or Lonhro.
