Actually the stakes have been raised yet again.

50 large and a 1982 drop top Mercedes 500 SL to the charity of the winners choice.

The competition?

So what you are saying is Byk isn't a serious player?

Oh...we're lucky to be in jms62's presence. Those other guys in the selections forum who've posted winners aren't serious about betting. Only jerk-offs would waste 2 minutes posting their picks in the selections thread.

Not enough time for that nonsense!!

LOL... I guess you are not interested. You can post all you want trying to deflect and twist the issue but again you called me out. I countered willing to make a substansial wager proving that I wasn't redboarding and you basically are unwilling to do so...

I've got to do some cardio. THAT'S bike RIDING to you YOKELS. IF I make it BACK here without some IDIOT opening THEIR car door and INTENTIONALLY tripping me with their CANE then I SHOULD be BACK to point out that it was YOU who declined my initial OFFER to a HANDICAPPING challenge.

You HUGE VAGINA.

Not at all, Steve is a very serious player and I think one of the best handicappers in the country. Would he be willing to spend the time posting his picks if this wasn't his site ? Would he spend his time posting his picks if it wasn't driving traffic to his show ??? Only he knows that. This thread was after the fact and you jump on and trash all those that were feeling good about their success. Maybe it was because you didn't have very much this weekend. Now as far as me being a good handicapper, I'm not saying that at all. I think I am fair I have my moments for sure but I got knocked around Friday but recovered very well on Saturday. No matter how long I play I still am learning. I mean if you definition is how you do on the internet than this is all I have to offer http://www.breederscup.com/nhc/bccha...aspx?weekid=31

My two cents.

This thread could have easily been called "An opportunity to readboard" and the title of the thread was a pretty good cue to what you were going to get when you opened it up.

I am a lousy bettor of horses but i get lucky occasionally. I don't post winners or claim success after the fact. I don't do that with stocks either. There is no risk in that...and really no gain.

JMS was just posting to the thread's title. Nothing wrong with that. However, JMS did make a statement about another's handicapping abilities and got called on it. At that point, as the saying goes, its **** or walk.

None of my business, but I find these challenges entertaining and i have yet to see someone actually go through with it. There was a guy that challenged me to football picks on another board and he lost...and paid. Small bet...fifty bucks. At the same time, the bragging rights were what mattered...and it was pleasurable to see him emasculated.

Come on JMS... take the bet. At very least, you gain a ton of crediblity.

In defense of redboarders we all dont handicap the night before. I handicap the day of the races, somtimes 35 seconds before they open the gate

There were discussions of every race on this very forum. You weren't involved in any of them. That's fine, no one says you have to be.

But, at the same time there are many people here who spent a lot of time putting their opinions out there. Again,no one has to post anything, but if you're going to share your stories about success after the fact, why not share your opinions beforehand. It just comes off better I think. And yes, I understand you were just responding to the initial question.

Dude... You don't know how many hours I spent on this years cup... I approached it like a job. Every non working hour. When I was done handicapping I then spent all morning Friday planning my wagers for Fridays card.. Back at it on Saturday and still ran out of time as I didn't have all my bets together and wound up blowing the late P4 by not having a ticket covering my top Euros... I didn't post on other threads I frequent Saturday either as I wanted to be 100% focused and as retarded as it sounds, I didn't want to mess up my mojo.

I was posting to the thread. Coach dissed me, I dissed him right back. He made an offer and I went all in... I am giving him the chance for an easy 10K but he simply doesn't have the guts to see if I am full of it.

Coach will get his shot at me when they run this years Triple Crown Contest on this site.. I will make time for it.

LOL.. I've seen your picks Scav and you probably can. From what I read, it seems that it is very important to you to be known as the best handicapper on this board. Now as usual all the jackals will be out in force attacking me.. I just love this bar...
