As soon as I say that, the line has its worst drive of the season, Favre throws the pick, touchdown. I really can't take another loss to these cheating little bitches. I ****ing can't. Especially with no Brady, no Maroney..

no, not at all. the more info the better. i read an article (maybe in SI) about pelini really reaching out, wanting everyone involved again. no doubt he knows PR is a huge part of being a head coach, and getting a chance to turn that program around. it didn't go south overnight, it won't get fixed overnight.
i hope it works out for you all, i've never been much of a nebraska fan personally, but i know it hurts to see a team with a lot of tradition go downhill like it did. i've been dealing with that type of thing ever since jack kent cooke passed away and dan snyder bought the skins!

one thing that irritated me a bit with pelini is that when he was at lsu, he was the only coach on the sidelines to wear a different shirt than all the other coaches and crew. but i guess it worked out, he stood out. and no one can question the D lsu had while he was there...

For a majority of the game your defense line got pushed around badly. #77 was the bright spot for the Jets. But it totality, they whipped you bad up front. With Brady, that game would have been totally out of reach.

Seriously if you are going to root for the Jets, be ready for lumps.
Especially from the Patriots. And yes I hate them too.
They just kicked your butts in trench warfare.
There comes a time when you realize your opponent is better
and your team has to play flawlessly and get breaks.

Like they used to. Recruiting is soooo important.
Look what it has done for Missouri and Kansas.

Oklahoma, they have always wisked away some of the
best players in the state just like Nebraska used to do.

I've relaxed since the end of the game. Cassel sucks. Both of their lines are good, but beyond that, they don't have a great team. Personally, I'm not worried about November 13.

P.S. Jenkins and Pace will be in Cassel's nightmares by then. Not to mention Ruger Relle smothering Moss. Enjoy going 9-7 New England. We have the Rams, Chiefs, Raiders, Bengals, Chargers and Bills until we see you again. 6-2 or 5-3 at worst.

Agreed. Nice win on the road today by Buffalo, though I think Jacksonville might have been overrated in the preseason. We always struggle with Buffalo anyway, so if we can go into 11/13 at 5-3, I'll be satisfied, though we own the Chargers.

i think jacksonville still has a shot at beating out indy this year, the colts to me are far from the dominating team of a year/two years ago. the loss to the bears, and then squeaking out a win vs minn-they are not quite in sync these days.
but, the season is young, who knows? hell, i thought the 'skins would lose today. nice reversal, but their O still needs help, especially in the red zone.

We got lucky, catching Cinci and KC at home. They're both awful. I still say we beat SD, though I'm sure they'll be on their 'A' game, considering their 0-2 start.
