Think that's just the camera angle that looks like she's on the turf, it's the 2002 BC at Arlington (but looks like the picture got transposed since she's running the wrong way.)

That's your opinion and I strongly disagree....give me example of a "better" product that gives information on the horse racing scene, TVG, HRTV are OK if you got a "dish" but other than that there are none. Hell, I lot of people can't see or wager on a race....with Capital you get it all.

So because other shows are bad that means one of these horrendous shows has to actually be good?

Excellent.

Hoss,

Being stuck in SC it's impossible to get anything on horse racing let alone Saratoga. Being able to watch the shows each morning is fantastic. Maybe they could be better, like many posters here, but to kick back and hear something about racing is great. And they make some good points and give some good insight many times.

Why hire us when they're strapped for cash to begin with? Seems to me you would be a better hire since they wouldn't have to spend cash on make-up.

You have to admit, from a production standpoint it's absolutely horrible. When going back to look a videos of previous races they show the wrong ones....the microphone issue....Clancy going braindead on during the show....the show is an embarassment.

It looks like a show that was being done back in the early 70's.

"Trackfacts" is pretty lame, you can see Nick Kling pick 9 of the 11 morning line favorites every day if you just pick up a Saratogian. And "Down the Stretch" is very corny. The back and forths between Veich and Cusano are like a bad Abbot and Costello episode. You get the impression that there guests dont really want to be there. They never make any kind of selections or rational before a race, which is what the public wants. Nobody wants to see the replay of a race run 7 days prior, when they have already seen it 10 times.

The only show worth watching is the Mormino show (9am Sat & Sun) which is excellent. Hes got a personality, dresses nice and his rational and selections are both superb. He does have the tendency to gloat about his winners, but most people do.

"Talking Horses" is a great show too, but I guess that doesnt count as a Capital OTB production seeing it is a NYRA thing. I like listening to Eric Donovan and Jason Blewitt. Really good guys.

What or which commerical? Usually watch MSG plus for the race replays, the only time I watch MSG is on Wednesday nights for; you guess it.....WWE MSG Classics! Surely not to watch the Knicks !
