No one killed in Ferguson over the weekend though media wise you'd think the police are slaughtering people. WGN just broke away from their news to cover a press briefing in Ferguson about an autopsy of a death that occurred over a week ago.

Meanwhile Chi-Town was not so lucky this weekend though you'd never know it.

Quote:
Kardeon Glover was shot to death early Sunday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.

Police responding to a call of a person shot in the 900 block of North Karlov Avenue found Glover shot in the head on the sidewalk about 1:15 a.m. Sunday, authorities said.

Glover, 26, of the 4100 block of West Grenshaw Avenue, died at Mount Sinai Hospital less than an hour later, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Nobody has been charged for the murder.
Quote:
Damian Rodriguez and 16-year-old Jason Seballos were killed in Logan Square shooting that left another man wounded Saturday night.

The three were inside a vehicle in the 2300 block of North Springfield Avenue when a gunman walked up and opened fire about 11:45 p.m. Saturday, police said.

After the shooting, the motorist attempted to speed away but crashed into several parked cars, police said.

Seballos, 16, of an unidentified home address, was shot in the face and back and died at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, authorities said. Rodriguez, 21, of the 2300 block of South Keeler Avenue, was shot in the head and also died at Illinois Masonic.

The third person in the vehicle, an 18-year-old man, was shot in the finger and treated at Norwegian-American Hospital, police said.

Nobody has been charged for the murders.
Quote:
A 16-year-old girl was killed in a drive-by shooting in the West Englewood neighborhood that also left a man wounded early Saturday.

Shaquise Buckner and the 20-year-old man were shot in the 7200 block of South Laflin Street about 12:50 a.m., authorities said.

Buckner, of the 1400 block of West 72nd Street, was shot in the head and died at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

The man was shot in the back and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.

Nobody has been charged for the murder.
Quote:
Walter Neely was fatally shot about a block from Chicago Police Headquarters Friday night in the Bronzeville neighborhood.

Somebody walked up to Neely in the 3400 block of South Indiana Avenue and shot him in the abdomen about 11:35 p.m., authorities said.

Neely, 25, died at Northwestern Memorial Hospital less than 30 minutes later, authorities said. His home address was not immediately available.

The shooting happened about one block east of Chicago Police Headquarters at 3510 S. Michigan Ave.

Nobody has been charged for the murder.

Quote:
James Sterling and Amy Holmes-Sterling were killed in what police described as a domestic shooting that left another person critically injured Sunday night in the Roseland neighborhood.

The three were shot in the 400 block of West 104th Street about 9:55 p.m. Sunday, police said.

James Sterling, 37, who lived on the block, and Amy Holmes-Sterling, 29, of the 300 block of East 53rd Street, each died at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

A 26-year-old woman was also shot in the shoulder and taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.

The two women were related, according to police, who described the shooting as domestic related.

Area South detectives are investigating
Over 20 more wounded in shootings and nothing but crickets...........

This whole case is absurd. You have a 6'4, 295 pound guy that commits a strong-arm robbery at a store. Then the police have a confrontation with him a few blocks away on an unrelated issue. They tell him to put his hands in the air. He refuses and they draw their guns. Then he charges towards them and they shoot him. So what's the big controversy?

As usual, all the early reports we got from the press were wrong. They claimed he was shot in the back and that turned out to be totally false. They claim he was fleeing. That turned out to be totally false. The protesters would never admit that they were wrong. They want to still believe their made-up version of the events, that a harmless, innocent black guy was shot in the back by the police. Why don't they just admit that they had the facts wrong and go home.

Well, Dell, seeing as how "preservation of life" is one of the duties listed under a cop's job description, yes, a cop killing an unarmed person is of greater concern to a society, as they are expected not to abuse the fact that they are armed by the state. But apparently jaywalking and selling loose cigarettes is an executable offense to some of them.

I'd add petty larceny to the list of executable offenses except that the cop who killed Brown didn't know he was a suspect in the cigar stealing. (cigar? cigarette? I've read both in the media)

"They"? Where are you getting your facts from, Rupert? There was no "they."

I thought the officer had a partner in the car. That's not really relevant any way.

Where am I getting my info? Right here to name a few:

I am continually amazed at what people link to as Legitimate news. This goes for both the Bloods and Crips agenda. It's as if they think it is true just because it is posted on the Internet. I often seen the blaze come up on google searches but didnt go to it as I thought it may be a gay porn site.
The aristocracy has us right were it wants us fighting amongst ourselves while fanning the flames so we are too occupied to notice our pockets being picked. Now I must return to digging myself out of my Saratoga induced hole and figuring out how to close out a damn Daily Double.

Is it too much to ask for people to let the justice system work, and if it appears not to, to then bring in the DOJ?

One thing is certain: this Riley fellow is clearly racist.

You should know by now only white people can be racist.

I just find it amusing the Obama voter base is raising hell about the militarization of the police force when it's their Lord and Savior who has expanded NDAA.

I actually laugh at all of this going down because these people deserve what they get. So much blame to go around. Zero personal responsibility.

**** them and the liberals that ride their dicks on a daily basis.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that the police are perfect. I'm not saying there aren't some bad cops out there. But in this case, I haven't seen anything so far that would show that this police officer did anything wrong. I'm sure that won't stop Eric Holder from trying to prosecute the guy just to appease the black community.

There was another brilliant insight in that opinion article. The article says the problem is not the people rioting and looting. The problem is the police officers who are trying to stop the rioting and looting. Ok. Whatever you say.
