Dear KG.

You may be able to understand race dynamics, but you have no clue as to the horse itself. Rail Trip kicked your butt today after you ONCE AGAIN deserted a horse for losing.

I could not stop laughing.

Apologies, Sir.

I would have called it the post-9/11-we-need-a-hero-and-this-Cinderella-story-was-irresistible-for-people-like-me-who-had-no-interest-in-racing-till-Seabiscuit-came-out-the-year-before era, but it's too long.

Don't tell me someone is rocking the boat.
I know a very good handicapper that boxed The filly with Rail trip and Mast Track. The question was who could of played 3 Drunks ( Tres Barrachos ) ?

I laughed too as I cashed some winning tickets on him. I'm not sure how he kicked my butt though. Speaking of having no clue, look in a mirror. I think it's comical that you felt the need to say I ONCE AGAIN deserted a horse for losing? Try knowing what you are talking about. I didn't desert the horse. I still think he is a very good horse. What I don't believe in is blind loyalty. Just because I may like or dislike a horse at one point doesn't mean it has to stay that way forever. Good horses can go bad and bad ones can improve. What I did in this case was admit that I was very wrong on him. Not that I don't still think he's good but I don't think he's anywhere near the best horse in the country and the HOY. Backing off of that opinion didn't have anything to do with me believing he's still by far the best older male in California and salivating at seeing him as the fifth choice yesterday. I guess we both laughed.
