![]() First of all....isn't it fairly obvious that most of what BB says is, at least somewhat, tongue-in-cheek?
But, LITF's " knockers " were basically correct. The simple fact is that he is nowhere near as good as his cheering section would make people believe. I applaud his owners, they danced all the dances all over the country, and it is not their fault there was no competition. And, LITF is a very nice horse who performed admirably, but his actual performances were in severe contrast to the massive adulation he recieved. He was a good horse but in no means some kind of super horse. Other than finally meeting decent horses, what, praytell, was his " valid " excuse in the BC? It seems horses that unsurprisingly disappoint always have some mysterious excuse. |

![]() And I do give Bold credit for sticking his neck out and making a prediction about a horse. I do that, but 99.9% of the time, I'm wrong! ![]() |

I will only rip and tear into someone on here who "gurantees" that so and so won't win this race or that race or a race, etc. Thats just so cowardly as to be hysterical. It basically gives you every other horse in the race to root for and I have a hard time giving kudos to anyone who expects them for being right on such a cowardly statement. But I do delight in the embarassment of folks who make those cowardly statements and then end up being wrong. |
