i doubt golfers are using things like this to get bigger, but to quicken healing from injury. tiger had that bum knee, use of PED's would help him get back to work more quickly.

He was always in great shape. He was always 5'10 and 150 pounds. Now all of a sudden he is 5'10 and 170 pounds and he doesn't have an ounce of fat on him. I know he works out really hard but I still don't know how it is possible to gain 20 pounds of muscle if you aren't using some type of supplement.

For a short period of time I had a personal trainer who worked with professional athletes. I asked him how much weight I would gain if I started working out really hard every day. He told me I'd probably gain 3-4 pounds.

Much like in baseball, I've seen golfers that have bulked up in a way that seems almost impossible without taking some type of supplement.

Here is another article about this doctor that Tiger has been treated by. This doctor is strongly suspected of providing athletes with performance-enhancing drugs.

It is possible to bulk up that much, but you also have to have great genes to begin with and be VERY strict with how often you eat and the amount of protein you are getting.

He's 33 now... 20-25 pounds in 13 years, I bet 90% of the posters on this thread gained 20 pounds in that amount of time.

Define a lot ? He is 6'1" 185 lbs now. Not a lot of wiggle room if you subtract 25 lbs. His stock has plummeted in my mind and I'm not sure how I will feel when he comes back (fan or looking for him to flop) but this steriod thing is simply piling on. You do this for 15 years and see where it will get you

exactly, he was still a kid when he turned pro.

Now he's a man of course he's going to put on muscle weight after 10+ years of working out and drinking nightly and screwing whores. I thought steriods made you not want to fucl<?

I seriously doubt hes used PED's, but Randall had a good point that you cant put it past him thats for sure. And it wouldnt surprise me if he used something to help his knee heal.

If they find he used the Blood Spinning to help his knee heal I don't see this as performance enhancing.. I view this as therapy.

Well with all the extra-curricular activities he was involved in there is a good possibility that he had a protein deficit.

I agree about the Blood Spinning.. but he could have used other stuff like the "cream" to help heal.

Tiger doesnt weigh 215. I wouldnt put anything past this weirdo, but not everybody who has substantial positive gains in their physique are using supplements. A lot get it through hard work and the proper direction. Any personal trainer who tells you that you can only expect to gain 3-4 pounds doesnt know what he/she is talking about.

I think there is miscommunication from the trainer. 3-4 pounds a YEAR is reasonable without "supplementing"

I don't think he was on the juice. Would I be suprised if it came out that he was, after this last month absolutely not. But he already could hit the ball a mile. I would think that taking juice to bulk up would do nothing but screw up with his mechanics and affect his swing. There was nothing wrong with his driving (on the golf course ) , so why would he try to fix it?

I'm sure there are tons of people that gain 20-25 pounds during that period from eating too much. Plenty of people gain 25 pounds of fat. Tiger is all muscle. He's gained 25 pounds of muscle. I don't think there is any poster on this board that gained 25 pounds of muscle during that period.

If you can only gain 3-4 pounds of muscle in one year without supplements, you're not doing the right exercises and definetely not eating right. I dont know of any valid personal trainer who would make such a statement, much less one that supposedly works with athletes.

I know several people who have been able to do this.
