You don't know someone until you know someone .. but only a complete moron could have expected Woods to be what he was made out to be as a person.

Tiger's hugely successful image seemed possibly every bit as phony as Lady Gaga's hugely successful image.

Randy Moss is so refreshing as a person because he is real. He's an infinitely better person than a Tiger Woods.

That and he could also like the "idea" of marriage - or he really did(does) love Elin.

One of my very best friends has been married for 10+ years, says he couldn't imagine life without his wife, but he has always had a girlfriend on the side for the past 9 years. I don't understand it, but I can tell he really does love his wife. It's odd.

I mostly just wanted to derail the thread with talk of Randy Moss.

But no. He liked the idea of having a hot Swede babe whom he can have fun with during his probably infrequent boring time spent at home.

The Sweed hottie looked good on his shoulder and cemented an extremely marketable image for him.

Lady Gaga a few years ago...

He is selfish and has no respect for her feelings. Call it what it is.

He loved her about as much as I love one of my socks.

Perhaps after she helped elevate his already giant popularity and marketability .. and started popping out kids for him .. maybe she started becoming something a little more than just an attractive cum rag to him.

1) He is selfish. Most people worth a billion bucks are. Most winners are selfish.

2) If he had no respect for her feelings, then he would of let her find out earlier than this. I think he respects her feelings. If you disagree with someone about an issue, then you don't bring the issue up(cuz you know you don't agree with them about it.) Just because he respects her feelings doesn't mean he can do what she'd like him to do.

Tiger appears to be a very stubborn person that has a lot of trouble accepting when he's wrong. He will do it, but only when he absolutely is forced to. I think he thought he would be monogamous with his wife. He couldn't do it (wouldn't do it...however you want to characterize it.) So, what does he do? Does he tell her this? Hurt her, and his reputation? Nope. He avoids it, and that makes it worse. That's what happened when this thing started 2 weeks ago. He denied it as long as he possibly could. The biggest problem is that he agreed to be monogamous. Obviously, he tried to appear to be what people wanted to see (a monogamous family man,) and that was a big mistake. It is really a bad mistake, because he could of gotten someone that pretty without marrying her. Most guys will marry because they must(if they want to keep being with a certain girl.) I think he loves his wife. Guys do cheat on women they love. They don't do it to hurt them, or to show them they don't love them. If he didn't love her, then he would of moved in with another woman. Cheating has nothing to do with love. It has to do with his taste for multiple pssy. That has nothing to do with his wife. One woman won't ever satisfy this man. His tastes can't be satisfied by one person. He spends a lot of time with one woman, and made babies with her. That's about as good as someone this selfish can do. He just didn't want anybody to know it. Unless you are avoiding a snoring partner, you should be sleeping in the same bed with them. This is just one more sign that he's selfish. I don't think he's a full-on Narcissist, but he's somewhere close to it. If he didn't cry about his pops, then I'd call him a Narcissist.

You would be extremely surprised to know how many married couples have separate beds or even separate bedrooms. In a survey by the National Association of Home Builders, builders and architects predicted that more than 60% of custom houses would have dual master bedrooms by 2015. Here is an article about it in the New York Times:

actually i read that only about 10% of couples don't share a bed. and scuds is right in that couples should sleep together, it helps to create that intimacy that needs to be kept in a happy marriage.

I think the percentages are quite different with really weathy people. According to the NY Times article, the trend in brand new high-end homes is separate bedrooms.

I love Lady Gaga .... Gwen Stefani is from the master race (Italian father/Irish mother) and is plenty hotter ... but even though Gaga is phony as hell, she rocks.

Yes, but read what Tiger is saying. That chick is wanting to fall asleep with him. That means she isn't gunna be checking email, watching T.V., reading with a lamp on etc. She's ready to fall asleep with him, and he doesn't want to. He doesn't say that he can't sleep with her touching him. He says she can't be in the bed with him, because he has a problem with that. I wouldn't be surprised if he snores(since he was said to be doing that in the middle of the street,) but he won't just say that. He either snores, or has some OCD thing going on. Either way, he keeps his own negative traits vague. Selfish type people have virtually no interest in talking about their flaws.

The reason I mention the separate bed thing is because sleeping in the same bed is a sign that you can tolerate some minor disruptions etc.(the needs of another) in order to be close to someone you love(or like.) It's a small sign that you are willing to tolerate someone else's habits. Narcissistic types can't do that. There are some reasons (in the article) for having two rooms (an option.) Unless there is a really good reason for sleeping in separate beds(snoring etc.,) I think it's a bad idea. 1) People are often so busy that those 8 hours are pretty much the only time they spend together that day. 2) If you have an argument, then the icy time will be shorter if you have the same bed. Not saying you'll talk, but it's still better than being in separate beds. If you argue, and have separate beds, then you can really have a long time before you'll talk again.
