![]() I had nothing on the race, but per the stewards, the incident at the beginning of the race had nothing to do with the outcome. Then why have an inquiry to look at the start?
Yesterday in the Goldikova Stakes, they DQ'd the 5 & 6 horses for interferring but not the 1 horse, who came in also from the rear view they showed of the stretch. I have just as much luck hitting the Lotto as winning on horses with those stewards... Lol |

![]() As a jock of a speed horse, any reason not to dust off another speed horse within 2-3 posts at the start?

![]() I think it shows that this incident DID affect the outcome of the race. Moreno clearly gets a good jump but loses all chance because of what Bayern did. That in its own right is an infraction, let alone how it affected how the race was run.

The fact that Shared Belief was one stall inside of him was coincidental, and he was bumped sideways as collateral damage. Two one-way speed horses in the race, but Javier Castellano was not aggressive enough and Moreno was not quick enough. As soon as he was crossed and cleared he became odds-on to finish dead last...and Bayern's chances of winning obviously increased tremendously with a loose early lead. In America, there's no in-race Exchange wagering. You're just supposed to "watch the beautiful spectacle and enjoy the pretty horses and colors" |

In race exchange wagering is tricky business, we will never have in race exchange wagering. We should have exchange wagering though. |

I think Upstart ran really well in that race with a bad trip. I know thats not really the point, but I dont see anyone discussing the races anywhere else. |

![]() It didn't seem speed favoring the last few races. I thought it was fair for the Juvenile, although the cavalry charge for the lead helped Texas Red.

![]() If it was not sarcastic, the way his post read to me was that Moreno was not fast enough or ridden aggressive enough to lead. I don't see how one can deduce that because the image showed that Bayern was not in a position to clear him and the force he took to knock him sideways halted his forward momentum. Bayern would not have been able to clear him if Garcia didn't cause the chain reaction to have Moreno bulled over.
