Scuds....what did you think of the call in that race yesterday?? Look to me like the 3 came out on the 10, causing the 10 to come out on the 11. I had all 3, (actually had all 4 if I had played the super, but I don't play supers) so I was hoping the 3 would come down.

Well,Kev,what do you know? Somebody else also saw video yesterday of an incident on the far turn at a North American track. For some reason they couldn't show that today. No,it isn't a great view, but it is better than showing nothing. The incident yesterday occurred as you said it did.It did not bother the horses much.I know Pat gave it an acting scene, but it wasn't enough (at all)for a d.q....I had the 10(btw.)

I saw it, no doubt...I was a bit of an acting job. I was just hoping for them to take the 3 down and make it 10-11-7..LOL. That 7 was 35-1? I think and was very game until the end.

Scuds,
I never mentioned Finger Lakes so why should you?
Kent is an awful rider, no matter where he rides.
I don't think he's ever ridden at FL.
He'll never ride one of mine. NEVER!!!
Toga, Belmont, AQ...where ever.
I think he should go back to his roots...feed a few quarters into that bronco outside the entrance of his local grocery store.
I hope a few people have their video cameras handy so they can sell them to "Funniest Home Vids" when he gets bucked off and goes crying to the stewards. "Poooooor meeeee"!

Yeah,I understand that you don't like him.It doesn't mean he wasn't fouled today though. It just means you don't like him,and am letting that determine your response to a particular incident that you couldn't have properly seen yet.I wouldn't miss him if he were to go to Japan etc.,but it doesn't mean he wasn't fouled today.

Scuds,
You're right that I don't like him. I've seen him blow quite a few good rides, just like today.
I honestly don't think he was fouled. He thought there was a hole where there wasn't.
Others on this thread have said he should have been more patient. On that I agree.
The results stand.
I'm happy he didn't get himself or Premium Tap killed.
Crying to the stewards doesn't excuse bad riding, no matter how ya shake or bake it.

tvg slowed the incident down and clearly Premium Tap's head was just past the hips of Ball Four. the hind legs of Ball Four were even with the front legs of PT. it looked like the hip of Ball Four knocked into the shoulder of PT. the angle used was the one we all saw from the grandstand.

how does PT get shoulder to hip without a hole there ? and down the stretch Martinez brought Ball Four off the rail further confounding PT.

Kent D. made his move a little early . They usually wait for the lead horse to go wide out of the turn and shoot up the rail. KD evidently thought this was happening and he could shoot up the rail when Ball Four came back inside and "shut the door " on him, as KD said on camera. IN fact Ball Four did come out , out of the turn and if KD had waited a bit more , the hole would have been much bigger. KD is known as a guy who expects others to get out of the way when he yells he's coming thru. I was suprised though that PT was not sent from the gate out of the 1 hole though, not wanting to get into a duel with BF I guess. We all missed the wedding at Saratoga and came for the funeral at Turfway ! That Poly confused me the whole day too. I was less than confident as the card progressed with 2K p3's the norm.
