"Missile Motor, who was vanned off after the fifth race with an injury to his right front leg, suffered only a soft tissue injury after X-rays came back negative, according to the New York Racing Association. The 9-year-old gelding was making his 83rd start and owns 20 wins, 19 second-place finishes and 11 third-place finishes in his career with earnings of $511,623. Let’s hope for the best for the old warrior."
