B/c the track was sick fast, so people need to calm down a bit on that track record. Capt. Candyman broke it as well....wet fast is tough to slow down.

Right. Not only did they both break the track record but the third place horse, beaten over six lengths, also nearly broke it. Even the fourth place finisher wasn't that far behind it.

Fast track or not...

I disagree with that figure. It should be as high as 109 or as low as 106 imo.

Now that he trains Quality Road, I wonder if Pletcher was upset about how fast the track was playing.

From the white Randy Moss' twitter page

"Quality Road was very impressive in Amsterdam at Saratoga, but timer malfunctioned. Time for 6 1-2f should have between 1:14.70 and 1:14.79"

Moss is slow, responsible people were already double checking this mystifyingly good run

I think we're going to have to get the 3 wise men of pace together and form some kind of consensus as to the timing of that race: Moss, CJ, and ......

who's the 3rd?

I'm pretty sure the 103 had to factor in 1:14 and high change time.

I know this ... even with the tricky angle - I can't hand time this race to make it go as slow as Moss' equipment has it going.

Also, when I hand time other 6.5 furlong races at Saratoga from last year .. I consistantly get the same slower than posted clocking as I get with this race.

How dare you not post a link to the bald Randy Moss's twitter page.
It would be more popular than Serling's and maybe even approaching TFM's following.

ok, that makes sense then, chart though still shows the wrong time.

What? I'd be over 20 followers by now, if I didn't keep kicking people off.

That's only, what, 1000 less that Serling?

I dont get it, updated a couple hours ago it says the time is confirmed, how could it only be a 103 beyer by lowering the track record a full second, no matter how fast it was playing?

Answering your own question. This is why track records are irrelevant.

The correct fractions and time for the Amsterdam IMO:

1/4: 21.16

1/2: 43.66

3/4: 1:07.22

Final: 1:13.45

Warriors Reward will never run in the Kings Bishop as that is the logical spot for Capt. Candyman Can. Warrior will run a huge race in the Travers.
