I still can't believe they're actually seriously considering sending Commentator there given his known fragility. I thought trainers hated the CT surface?

i don't think it's the surface as much as it's the tight turns.
when the track was re-done a few years ago, the horseman begged CT to open up the turns.

Yeah, I've actually heard some folks propose they run at the old Shenandoah Downs or whatever it was called for six months so they can fix the track.

Pick any reason, it really doesn't matter.

My guess is the scratch will occur cause of the speed in the race.
