You're right about the Pim Special; he gave a pound to a couple. In the Hollywood, do you remember what Best Pal carried?

You got me there, I don't remember how much weight Best Pal carried that day, I do know on Cigar's website it quoted him as highweight..he wasn't a factor that day, the fun thing about this topic is viewing some of these races again on youtube. That Hollywood Gold Cup was one of the more memorable one's I recall, contrast that to today and you say racing was great then.
