10,000 bucks is nice, but not nearly enough to foot the bill in totality. I was shocked at the price of textbooks. Totally outrageous. When I was in school the major cost was room and board. Tuition at a state school was minor. The tuition has increased 10 fold compared to the room and board (which is also huge, even for a school dorm). God forbid she finishes in 4 years and then wants an advanced degree. It cost me nothing, but for her... I will continue working in order to help out. My teaching salary... I think a huge hit on a Pik 6 is in order. |
