Got one daughter who is a college senior where I work and a son who is a soph at my alma mater and one more entering college next year!

Thank god for college tuition remission and college exchange programs or I'd be even more I only have to pay fees...no tuition bills at three private universities. I don't know how people do it with the tuition these schools charge now!

I know what you mean. My daughter's going on a full scholarship thank God or she wouldn't be going where she's going.

My daughter received the mighty Minnie Piper Stevens scholarship.
10,000 bucks is nice, but not nearly enough to foot the bill in totality.
I was shocked at the price of textbooks. Totally outrageous.

When I was in school the major cost was room and board. Tuition
at a state school was minor. The tuition has increased 10 fold compared
to the room and board (which is also huge, even for a school dorm).

God forbid she finishes in 4 years and then wants an advanced degree.
It cost me nothing, but for her...
I will continue working in order to help out. My teaching salary... I think a huge hit on a Pik 6 is in order.
