What surface are most tournaments played on?
Answer: Hard Courts.

What surface did Borg NEVER win a major championship on?
Answer: Hard Courts.

And there you have it.

Agree in totality.

Motion maybe the same... But the forehand grips of today would have been ridiculed in the mid 70's early 80's. And the technology of the racket has changed tennis. Thats why comparisons are difficult.

McEnroe was a magician with the racket. Best Volley ever. Best half volley by far... I have never seen anything like some of the stuff he did. But Borg was better imo... much, much faster. Borg ran down anything and everything.

And I actually played Steve Denton (two time Australian Open finalist) and got thoroughly crushed in some sectional tournaments in Texas. (The guy had a huge serve and was older) And I have been to the US Open and seen McEnroe play... Connors. So I have a tiny bit of credibility even though I hate the game with a passion (to play), would much rather shoot hoops.

some game yesterday.. It is a joy to watch the two of these guys play as mentally and physically, they are streets ahead of the rest... I'm a huge Fed fan and you would naturally think that I wouldnt like Nadal but he is so gutsy, so tough and seems to get to absolutely everything that it is hard not to like him.. I do think Nadal is lacking to Federer is pretty much every department of the game, shot wise, save his backhand..
