It's hard for them to ever be. They're in the toughest spot possible in CFB and their recruiting base is tiny compared to the monsters to their north, south, and east. Not to mention you have the underlying tradition that UK is a "basketball school". On top of that, half of their in-state recruits end up going to the 'Ville since they have better facilities and a better shot at a big bowl. Since my significant other has a degree from UK I'm kind of forced to watch them but I don't think they'll ever be consistently at the top of the SEC.

What would that make VMI then??

New Yawk wimmins no good anyways.
i wonder how long petrino can rest on his louisville laurels? they made out while their competition was less than stellar those years he was there, but then he had his debacle in atlanta (and boy are they so much better this year without him!) and now his horrid season in arkansas. too soon to call him overrated as a coaching mastermind?

With the two years you had before this,
it would be very easy to stink.
There was not much room to go futher up.

Coach

I wonder if there is a way to figure out how much money changed hands over that idiot fumble touchdown on the last play of Steelers/Chargers.....

The line had to be more than 1 but less than 7 before Troy Pala(sp?) had to cover for good citizens of Pitt. A holy back door cover if ever there was one...

It was definitely between 4 and 7 for all books.
