Alright calm down.

My only qualm is why we didn't the spread the field more, because that is the only thing that worked. Thomas Jones ran well, but he needs help, and the team and coaching staff did not give it to him.

Benson going down early hurt the Bears. It was a horribly played game on both ends. Tony Dungy was probably a virgin until his late 20's.

My balls feel like they got run over by a cement truck....biggest game of their lives and they show up for 4 minutes. All things considered, the defense played really well considering they were on the field for 80% of the game.....

I agree 100%. Why don't these teams (Chiefs, Ravens, Patriots & Bears) just keep running the ball? They all abandoned it. IMO, the Colts were actually a much stronger team last year. Next year, their run D will get exposed in the playoffs and they will NOT repeat.

A QB is only as good as his protection. Rex had some bad plays of his own, but Indy's D line had their way with the Bears and Rex didn't have much chance anyway.

As for the interceptions on both sides of the ball, at some point a reciever may have to become defensive. Stop the pick or at least stop the man that made the int.

You dont understand how the indy d works. If we have to line up and man up against the run , we are going to get beat. But all we have to do is stop you on first down for a short gain and its a whole new ballgame. Very few teams move laterally as fast as the colts do. Beyond that, How do you think they are going to get exposed. i thought you were exposed in the regular season? no wait, thas when half the team was hurt. Face it, Indy's D showed up and the might mighty D of chicago didn't.

How can you say that the Bears D didn't show up? They played damn well all things considered. They were on the field for 3/4's of the game, and held them to 2 TD's (one was a BLOWN coverage that was completed exploited) and 3 FG's, you hold Indy to 20 pts, you win most of those games. Our offense played like crap and our offensive line, usually a strong point, just got blown up every play. It wasn't even Rex's fault as much as people want it to me becuase he was running around with a diaper becuase he had zero time. Kudos to Indy coaches, because if anything, the only thing I will agree with is that Lovie got outcoached, especially in the 2nd half.

Scav ask yourself why they were on the field for 3/4 of the game. The offense sucked, but that was a given. THey gave up long drives and let them pick up first down after first down. A good defense gets off the field in the first place.

Indy's scheme prevented that from happened, Bears didn't want to get beat long, and they are paying for it today. Fact is they were damned either way, if they pull a safety up they get smoked long becuase WR's have the advantage in the rain (especially with Peyton Manning)...Our linebackers didn't play well, whatsoever. Peyton 11 yarded us to death, which if that was the plan, it was pretty smart, it was almost like they were trying to keep our offense off the field and just tire out the D....
