Yes, that was the other/another one. I also thought there was another, perhaps a European campaigner, besides Electrocutionist.

The also recently purchased the 2yo filly based at Santa Anita named Zada Belle. She was the most impressive debut 2yo filly I've seen this year in California.

Also, awhile back, I read on the drf.com site that they purchased street sense, but that article seems to have disappeared.

I guess he will be one Florida Derby nominee who doesn't make it to the race. (hopefully he wasn't injured in this race of course)

Don't know about the others, but the didn't purchase Day Pass, as he was simply a Darley horse that they moved to Godolphin. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the other list fits the same category.

With all the negatives we have hear in previous post about Star of Johannasburg, Have the shieks entered the bidding? With the "no sale" sign , what would be the obsene figure that they would cave in too?

havent seen Blue Sky Gold mentioned here.. They also snapped him up (well under the Darley ownership).. The UAE Derby could be well worth watching next year!!

I read that Day Pass will be wintering in Dubai, which makes me wonder whether they really think he is a Derby horse, although McLaughlin seems to think he'll be back for first Saturday in May.
The Darley horse "Mercantile" didn't take to the slop at Calder a couple weeks ago, and I assume they hope he can break is maiden soon as he has to be one of their Derby hopefuls. Here's the link to the Day Pass story.
