Yeah, really gives him a lot of credibility when he tells his stories of all sorts of owners and trainers bashing polytrack in private conversations to him even though none of them are bashing it to the press.

Yeah, but they are dumb Cajun. It doesn't even occur to them that I posted the chart as well. Because I know quite a few won't even open it or read it.

I can't open the charts at work, so I'm clueless.

The only reason I knew because I'm only bet the Keeneland turf
races and given up on the poly track races and only download the turf races and handicap them

Look at the responses already.
The "poly advocates" don't even watch races yet they know it all.
Must be the result of being several weeks since Saratoga closed and still being a month until possum huntin' season starts up there.

Cool!! So you also actually watch races before commenting on them?
Seems to be an exclusive club lately.
I realize most work at places where they can't see them live. And many can't even get the replays.
But how can those who don't even see races consistently keep commenting on races they didn't even see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????????
It would be like me commenting on the new Nicholson/Dicaprio movie based on reviews I've read rather than watching it.

I didn't bail on anything. I'm a stats freak. I see that the handle has big bumps on weekend days. I'm still interested to see how they finish up this week with no "hooks" or big races.

The problem with what you are implying is that I can't see where a single person fell into your clever trap, ie commenting about the breakdown without
knowing it was a turf race. Who are the stupid people that you're railing against? Who took your bait?????????????????????????????????????

Ok I know I've thrown this rant before Saturday, but are Joel and I the only ones who find this absolutely absurd????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How the **** can anyone sit there and ****ing argue with guys who have seen a race or races as if they could possibly have any sort of valid opinion???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its like the guys who read the sports page in the morning about the game the night before and pretend they saw it and tell you how great so and so pitched. Its lunacy.

see the movie. 3.5 Studs. Nicholson outstanding as Frank Costello. Great dialogue. Costello meets up with an old acquaintance .....

Costello: How's your mother?
Acquaintance: Not well. She's on her way out.
Costello: As are we all. Act accordingly.

No Kiddin' S2S...
I remember a day when i was taking "lunch count" for the cafeteria crew with the 3rd graders. The date was Feb. 2.
Me- Who wants to have lunch today?
Kid- What is it?
Me- Well, you all know what day it is..it's groundhog day.
Jacob- (waving his raised hand franticly)...MEEE!!! YUM!!!!

that's exactly what i asked on the first page -- not one person has said anything about polytrack, all they have done is point out that the title of the thread is false -- which actually is serving to debunk the entire point of the post in the first place.

it's like oracle posting a thread saying "the sky is orange" and you coming in and saying "no it is not."

and them him saying " SEE! GOTCHA! YOU FELL FOR IT!"

ridiculous.

Arl Jim,
you werent one of the folks that was aimed at.
that being said, as usual I've sat here and watched every race from Calder, Belmont, keeneland, the first 3 at santa Anita, and lowly Finger Lakes(its my vice, I like the place).
If you wanna debate trip notes at any of those places fire way immediately.
You really missed my point.
