Was talking to someone about this last night: where were the folks at Getnick & Getnick? Aren't they being paid a seven figure retainer to make sure things like this don't happen? Other than a political payoff to Spitzer friends (when NYRA got franchise renewal), they never struck me as having a single bit of utility, even when they were court-appointed monitor. If some heads are going to roll, isn't this a good place to start?

So, that was the time I woke up and found an extra $200 in my account. But what they are saying is they only distributed 9% of that money to people they found. So since they couldn't find the rightful owners of the rest of that money, shouldn't they just give me about $2000?

Suppose it might come in handy for someone to now calculate the 30 months of 24% takeout.. I'm not great at math but wouldn't you expect it's put roughly $10,000,000-12,000,000 into the hands of players? At this point, the net effect of the screw up has been beneficial to NY exotics players. But let's rehash the old news instead.
