You make an excellent point here. Although, this is becoming a political hot patato now that some politicians will be subject to a criminal investigation regarding the AEG deal. The likely media scrutiny from this point forward may have politicians fearful of taking that kind of money. But then again, most of them are whores who will go to any lengths to get campaign contribution money so you may very well be right.

And who knows how much the Atlantic City casino operators like Trump have contributed to stall the project.

And i thought that the Texas people were the worst in getting something like this done. While the buses are running to Louisiana 24 hrs a day, with Texans, the Cajuns are laughing to the bank for years now....

Shame on N.Y. for not partnering with legitimate gaming operators. They jerked off MGM Mirage and Wynn. Think there would be any licensing issues with these companies? They had to choose a company with local ties?
