Agreed, Using Chamberlain and Hughes for 1 inning apiece then only getting about 2 out of Aceves really shortened the pen.

I can't believe that Robertson got out of that inning. Vlad has been horrendous, he's swinging for the Grand Concourse on every pitch.

Especially with guys like Guzman and Gardner coming up after A-Rod. He really needed to go for it all that inning.
Didn't they already use Molina tonight though? Who would catch?

Guerrero's bat speed is shockingly slow. He has dropped off terribly. The old Vlad would have pulverized that strike 2 fastball.

Yes, because of the whole Burnett/Molina marriage.

He's a kid that came up when Posada and Molina were both hurt and actually played pretty well. Much better behind the plate then he is with his bat.

No, the old Vlad would have been put on first on 4 pitches.

I want to thank GBBob for waking me up so I could see the end of this abortion of a game.

That's a heartbreaking loss, ala Minnesota game 2.

I guess the Yankees deserve it. They did pay the most for it. And their fans are so knowledgeable. Obviously they were spot on with their ARod assessment.
