I used to actually be able to watch Jon White on HRTV before today. After listening to his POTN rant today I now plan on muting him. His love for POTN is one thing, but some of his resaoning is borderline insane. He lost me right away with his "I expect POTN to have a serious shot at winning the triple crown". To say that a slow horse who has never ran on the dirt has a "huge shot" at something like the triple crown is hysterical. His comparisons of Point Given to Pioneer of the Nile are useless. PG ran on dirt. Someone needs to expalin this to White.

12 of the 20 horses in the race have 2 strikes or less, so go ahead and box those 12 in a super. I think thats only $11,880. I like to keep track of how many time he says ---to me---. by the way I really like the guy.

Normally Steve has to ask two questions of Jon to complete the segment. I really think he will just need to introduce him next Tuesday, get up, go get a cup of coffee, check his on-line account, do quick work on a late DD, respond to a few e-mails, and the 15 minutes will be filled.

the problem isn't jon white. it's not his opinion on POTN. the problem is that we listen to these guys day in, day out-and they on the other hand think they're talking to a new audience at every interview. white knows a lot, can teach a lot. we just don't like to hear the same thing over and over, on any subject.

I am really looking forward to watching POTN run a BSF of about 98 and lose by about 12 lengths

You are dead right. What I would more like the experts like White to focus on is who he thinks will make it to the finish line along with his beloved POTN. I think in everyones mind they already have either a top horse, or some underlings selected and are trying to figure how they are going to organize their bets. But just listening to JW would make me want to throw POTN out of any of my picks.
