Why start a thread which is meant to celebrate Bernardini by slighting Barbaro?
you'd have to ask seattle that one...

hell, barbaro winning the derby in hand was more impressive...of course he isn't older...

you're all or nothing, aren't you??
Lava Man has looked very beatable. No way he could compete with Bernardini at the Classic distance. I bet he doesn't even show up for that race.

Flower Alley raced one time against garbage. Invasor and Flower Alley might give him a little problem, but I doubt it.

Barbaro was more impressive, but Bernardini in my opinion is better by a little.

You are forgetting that these AP Indy's only get better as the year goes on.

i've decided after reading some of your posts that there is no way you are serious about much of what you write. no way anyone could really mean it when they say a horse is the best in forty years based on two performances--esp considering the type of horses we've seen the last forty years.

it's all gotta be tongue in cheek.

Sorry if the title rubs people the wrong way. Its just I love Bernardini much moreso than Barbaro. People have been slighting Bdini in the Preakness saying if Barbaro didnt get hurt he would of lost, but I think Bernardini would of won regardless. Again,my apologies for people who didnt like the title of the thread, but I love Bernardini and AP Indy babies
