I'll take a flyer on Global Hunter for the win.

first defense got into a brief duel on the Turn with Commentator , allowing Divine Park to make a strong drive for the win.

Commentator ran a wicked half of :44 2/5, with First Defence in close pursuit, and Divine Park closed to beat an understandably tired Commentator by a length or two in a very weak 1:36.91. Lord Snowdown was a rapidly gaining third, about a length behind Commentator.

Reminds me a lot of the Wood with War Pass. . . Divine Park gets another perfect set-up and beats the best horse in the race.

The final time was very much a function of how slow the track was playing. The race will still probably get a figure of 110 or so. I guess we no longer have to hear this silliness that Commentator is ineffectual if he doesn't get everything his own way.

I'm glad to hear Commentator didn't completely throw in the towel. I couldn't see the race, but I'm impressed by him just by reading here about it.

he won most of it....

seriously, he looked pretty good. first loss at a mile for the old guy. i thought he was going to get passed once by first defender, fought him off, and then nothing left for divine park.
