![]() It would be hard to argue with Ron Geary as the choice, but I'd have to go with Richard Shapiro. He stopped the ADW exclusivity on California racing. I can only hope that others with the power to do so will follow his lead.

![]() If you want someone who transends the sport my vote would be for the Queen. Having her show up at the Kentucky Derby was an excellent showcase for the sport and puts the finger on why horse racing in England is so so different. It's part of the culture of everyday life, dignified by all, and truely the Sport of Kings.
We need this desperately here. Not sure how, but if we could bring in people or publisize people who would give more honor and credibility to the sport, it would go along way for the future of the sport. Spyder
