Nice job guys!!

I would have had $2 ticket to both the winner and 2nd place finisher Wisp ($1,300 will pay) if I made correct substitution based on tote. Adds a bit of insult to injury.

Just adding that #3 to my race 6 C cover ticket would have gotten me $307 on a $6 extra investment. Live and learn...

On to tomorrrow.

Thank you guys, I appreciate it. The approach made sense today for me playing all in the 6th as I just felt like I couldn't get a handle on that race. To me the 2 stood out in the 7th, the 2,6 stood out in 8th (Trombetta always dangerous when he ships in, picks his spots well) and I loved the 2 in the 9th. Nice job as well HH, lets come back and get em again tomorrow.

The ALL button makes sense when you have one race in the sequence that is hopeless for credible angles but I struggle with 2 races or a third in that vein as these are the P4's that cash the best tickets because either 2 "C" plays or 3 "B" plays win races setting up payoffs.

"Caveman" tickets are certainly more expensive but when you cap the thing correctly but don't cash the P4 because your cute with the A/A/B/A thing you feel like you want to ".......?" fill in your own inappropriate expression of anger here!!

Tomorrow there is a nice late 4 with only 1 race where I can see either singling or choosing only 2 horses (8th) but the MSW 6th and late finale have about 6 horses who could easily win while the other stake probably has 5 decent plays in it. If 3 races have prices you have a nice nugget so to some extent you can't just corner one "B" or "C" with "A" plays because not only are you likely to miss but also screw yourself when you thought the race was likely to pay nicely. Caveman sometimes is the play for a sequence if you can afford it....

Dociu3,

Totally agree with you on the ABAA tickets. I can't try to zig zag around leaving B's off. That's why I have been including a $1 "Caveman AB Ticket" as part of my play. Costs a bit extra, but I am certainly not at the level of play.

We have been trying to limit our use of C horses to horses we want to beat, but can't fully toss; horses with an angle but can't justify investing as a B; or a real rain maker
with an outside chance to blow up a ticket if we are very right in other 3 legs.

Thanks!

I just didn't trust Oprah in the feature.

I hit 3 out of 4 at Calder because I was stupid and eliminated J'Ray in the first leg. Thats two weeks in a row I had 3/4 and TAP beat me with the ML favorite, what and dumb ass I am. You would have thought I would've learned my lesson last week. To think when I handicapped and went through the races I included J'Ray and later subsituted for her to include the winner in the last race.

I'm a little hesitant to look at tomorrow's card as there is some NASTY weather being forecasted for the area. I'm thinking the jocks and track management may decided not to run.

Local. TV forecast calling for dry and cold tonight, continued cold (30's) and flurries tomorrow. Although weather.com paints a bit of a worse picture.

I had heard last night 1 to 3 inches of snow, but it seems now that they are just predicting flurries. Pretty safe to cap, anyway, can always go with FG or Hollywood if no racing.
