Matt Hegarty was confident, on Steve's show yesterday, that YouBet and The BC would come to an agreement.

Default No ADW contracts for Breeders Cup

The Daily Racing Form reports that the:
"Breeders' Cup Ltd. does not currently have a signed simulcasting contract with a single major account-wagering operator in the U.S., the Breeders' Cup and account-wagering companies acknowledged on Tuesday."

Priemier Turf Club has a contract to carry both days of the Breeder's Cup. I guess the operative word is major.

Darn right we got the Breeders' Cup!
In case you haven't heard, Youbet.com will be playing host to the big two-day dance next weekend and is taking subscribers right to the first post of the 2007 Breeders' Cup, with non-stop racing everywhere, including this week's features: Belmont Park's classic New York-bred card on Saturday, Oct. 20, worth almost a million dollars in purses. As well, the state-breds are flying at Charles Town that night, topped by the $500,000 West Virginia Breeders' Classic

Interesting commentary on the Hong Kong export of the race. You better believe the Mile will have huge handle from these guys.

Doesn't matter too much for me because I will be at Monmouth, but if the mutual lines suck, I may have to go to the phone to place my wagers.

i hate phone wagering, i like to play a lot of super combos and its not something i will fool with on the phone. i'd go over to the local otb before doing that, so i do have options its just i like the convenience of the online wagering.
