Have to defend Robbie here. On his overall career; he won the Woolf award as the nations best jockey and is one of only five riders with a lifetime positive R.O.I. on turf.

From a personal standpoint he is very good at getting off a horse and giving you solid advice. He is a total gentleman and a terrific money rider. In a bit of irony his idol is Calvin Borel.

As for yesterdays race, his ride on Hallway was excellent. He saved ground, eased out and could not get by a real nice horse. BBB

The real issue at hand is that some people get sick and tired of these childish antics from someone who has admitted to having a problem; i.e. losing money he should not have risked losing, and every time things don't go his way he acts like a child and goes nuts on this board or in the old days on the espn board. Some of us (see me) have grown up in the "online world". Jerry (Seattle) has yet to come to grips with that yet.

Not too mention, how low can you go when you wish someone to burn in hell? Come on, don't feed this childs antics and hatefull posts. Instead, this Computer Programmer for Microsoft (that is what he says he does) should be slapped with not one wet noodle but two and FORCED to realize he needs to take not ONE class BUT TWO -

I have graduated from both thru a series of hard knocks and am damn proud of it. This individual should receive a scholarship for both and enrolled ASAP.

I like Robby. He is a fine jock. He has brought me home some fine winners in the past. It is simple--dont bet him if you think he is a bad jockey and is not going to bring home a winner for you. Maybe it is your fault for wagering on him.

Just once I would like to hear somebody say:
"Oh man, such&such jockey just won me a ton of money!! I had totally capped the race incorrectly and didn't have the best horse at all, but the cleverness of the jockey's ride saved my ass!!"

I can this about Russell Baze in the 3rd at The Big A on Saturday. He rode BYANOSEJOE to victory for me. Not going to say what I won because I will be accussed of redboarding. But he was not on the best horse, but gave the best ride.

Huge over-simplification here......More often than not,somebody you would rather not bet on is riding the horse you feel is best.I would imagine that is exactly what happened here.Seattle thought this horse should get it done.He had to put up with the jock that came with it.

If you dont like the jock dont bet the horse. There has been plenty of times where I sat out a race because the horse I liked had a jock on it that I didnt like. It is a matter of discipline in my opinion. But I do understand what you are saying.

Yes,he didn't like an earlier ride,and so he probably should have passed on taking low odds on Albarado in the 9th.I would imagine he was chasing pretty hard.

One jock I will not wager on or single in a pick 3 or 4 is Victor Espinoza. I will use him but only with other horses.

This is a seldom spoken, rarely overheard, exclamation isn't it? Can you imagine hearing someone shout out a "thank you, ****, great ride" to one of them, before leaving the rail and heading to cash that $100 win ticket, that trifecta, or that super?

Sure they were doing their job, they got their cut; still, JUST MAYBE they performed their task exceptionally well, their skill proved beneficial in that particular race.

Anyone can benefit from accolades. And they should be spoken more readily, regardless of what our vocation is.

Nah, won't happen in horseracing though. All you'll hear from the rail is, YOU SUCK, when they lose next out.

Too often, all we hear is how profoundly stupid they are. Seldom the positive. That's a shame.

I'm sure it breaks their little hearts that they don't get as many compliments as they do criticisms. Poor Robbie...he must be crying in his mansion.

You want to see a horrible ride, Sunday Mar 25th, Aqueduct race 3. Jean Luc Samyn on the 1, now that is getting your horse beat, not what Albarado did. But this is a typical Seattle wanting attention thread. Good job, mission accomplished.

He should never have lost the 9th race.That is simply a case of one jock wanting it more,and floating out to take a shot at intimidating a horse who is better than his.There is zero doubt in my mind that Albarado had the best horse.Jocks decided that one.

Look up Epic Power and his race a week or two ago. Nakatani ruined my day with that ride. You would have to be a robot to not get upset over a ride like that. What really tops it off is the connections brought the horse back Sunday and Nakatani was back on him.

Frankly, there needs to be many more fines in this game because the recklessness and/or stupid decisions these jocks make on a daily basis is outrageous.
