I'd definitely give consideration to Jimmy Jerkens. I've been a big fan of Sir Greeley racing every 3 to 4 weeks and being able to compete at stakes level. Now his handling of Corinthian has been extremely refreshing. Very few trainers would have brought Corinthian back in three weeks for the Gulfstream Park Handicap. Even fewer would follow up that G2 win by running in the G3 Excelsior which does nothing for the stallion resume and doesn't really serve as a prep for anything. This guy actually races his horses and if I own a horse I want a horse that actually races regularly and isn't coddled in his stall with 5 to 8 weeks between starts.

I don't have a strong enough grasp of the Euro trainers to take one of them. Plus, I want to campaign in the U.S....Jerkens won't be around much longer. That's a negative in his column.

In New York I would go with John De Stefano Jr. No real reason but I think he is good with getting maidens ready...not really a big stable I don't think...Just my personal opinion though

There's three or four good names here, but I would go with Ron McAnaly.

Have to agree with you about the good doctor. He is a genius! He would definitely be my number one choice for a vet.

Greg Gilchrist seems to be able to find some very good sprinters like Lost in the Fog and Smokey Stover.

Merrill Schrerer
Frank Brothers
Rebecca Maker
Tom Proctor

All of them get horses in the winner circle and spot horses well for owners

If I were an owner who didnt care about long term developement and just wanted quick return and didnt care if my horse ran past 3 1/2 I would choose Lukas or Baffert. If I wanted to develope a horse and look at the long term I would pick (Im excluding my boss) from Cali. David Hoffman and from back east Shug.
