It was another nice effort....that's for sure.

Stone Grossard and I have had our differences---but, based on the fact that Sumwonlovesyou now has a career record of 6-1-5-0 in her lifetime starts over a fast main track---with her lone win coming at 3/5 odds---of course a nutrual observer has a right to speculate that the horse might be a "seconditis" type.

However, I haven't seen film on her prior---and, IMO, she was just beaten by a little better horse on both occasions. There is a reason why the winner today was a 3/5 favorite--and she was a 5/1 shot.

Inspite of the five seconds from six career tries on a fast main track stat---I believe NOTHING she's done in her last two races anyway, stamps her as the kind of horse who has charchter issues.

Most "seconditis" horses have these charachter issues---but, sometimes, they are just unlucky to find one a little better...and that's probably the case here--at least off of what I've seen in her last two.

Certainly a great effort---and I'm glad for Steve and Chuck and all of the partners.

My only problem with you is you can't spell my name correct.

I would ask that Mr. Stonegossard stay on board please.

This is a board full of characters.
New people giving insight is fine with most of us.
I think it is interesting that some of the people that are a bit critical have been in much larger cat fights including myself. I appreciate new blood.

Just dont go Morty on us. Does Morty even like horses?

Yes....someone with my dazzling formal education has no right to butcher the spelling of neutral.

Perhaps I should proof read to prevent further mishaps....or spell check.

Considering your nut obsession I thought it could have meant anything.

Good effort today guys. You should ship he to the midwest, where she can mop up in 50k stakes races lol. Any future plans yet?

I have been fortunate (or unfortunate) to know Morty from the old DRF board...for a long time. Might explain some of my behavior.

Nice race today by the filly!!!

It was a lot of fun to watch and to root her home. I was hoping the bump at the top of the lane would make her switch leads - it just took her a little longer to get that done.

If you have to lose a race and run second, $50k purse N1X's is the place to do it.

Nice job, Chuck!!! We're getting close to having enough cash in the kitty to be able to claim another horse!!!!!

That was really exciting and I'm very proud of our big girl!

She looked a bit stubborn about the lead change, but she certainly wasn't backing down from any of the fillies running on each side of her.

Good girl.

Was that a nutrual observation?

Anyone thinking this Beyer will crack the 80's? That horse that went a second and a half faster crushed Bold Start so that has to be a pretty good figure. If she's only 12-15 points off that it should be a solid figure. I'm pretty psyched, she ran about as good as I possibly could have imagined, collected the second place check, and keeps her condition.

Don't sell yourself short.....I hate you for many reasons not just something as superficial as your looks.

Any other pitches you want to lob over the plate?

That certainly goes a long way towards explaining your performance in Saratoga last summer.

Right.
She's consistent, game, and healthy. You couldn't have asked for much more.

SUMWONLOVESYOU, up close inside early, eased outside of front-running PHILIPS PRIDE to force the issue on the backstretch, moved prominently four wide to gain even terms for the lead in the upper stretch, then was outfinished in a good try

Congratulations to Sumwon
and all the connections.
She did very well, a nice
filly. I hope she came out
of the race okay and
continues to do well.
Peppermints for Sumwon!

Great job guys and gals. I get that mushy feeling when I see her in the post parade, and I dont even own a share...This venture has opened the idea of NY bred into an all new light.. I hope plans for that one are still in the works.. Congrats and the hard work is paying off..
