Should we need to have to know the secret handshake to get comps or have to Risk going offshore and having the feds freeze our money? 25 Cent Slot players get rooms in AC.

Just got an email from Churchill about some new seating area, a furlong away from the finish line, that is available for the Oaks/Derby at $798/ticket plus a $5/seat and a $25 handling fee. Of course that comes with food and drink. A 'virtual' steal if you're Churchill Downs.

Back in the day, the first turn was called the turf terrace. It was general admission, and a great place to watch the race. I think they also have Section 228. I think this is a new area they've designed, it's the mezzanine or 2nd floor of the clubhouse. Bang for the buck, not a bad deal. I've sat just about everywhere at CD. Honestly, there's not many "good" seats. Most are a limited view, etc.
