A couple comments:
1. yes, I am totally depressed 2. No, $10M was not the number 3. The Preakness is too close...and I have not heard the "new" owner say that is the target...only reason is if they think it is a free paycheck...which would tell you something about MTB. 4. yes, I am totally depressed 5. Those that know the tax implications of owning a horse less than 2 years know that my uncle will owe substantial taxes on the gain...the incentive was too great. Although, somewhere in my mind makes me wonder why they have been considering offers for some time...easy to say...I am not going to get millions right!!!! Money wins...and in this case, I think it was a wise decision even though I am not crazy about where she landed. Either way, I know she earned a fan for life with me.
