Wow, I guess a 5 month layoff is not an excuse for DaHoss9698.

According to DaHoss9698 logic, any horse that travels from another country, stays in quarantine in Miami, changes feed and runs in a completely foreign track surface for the first time in no less than a Grade I race after 5 months is not at a disadvantage.

DaHoss9698 just placed horses behind Tomcito as horses not capable of winning an allowance. Tomcito shows in the Florida Derby but is not good enough to win an allowance? lol

Don't forget, Gulfstream is known for favoring speedsters and Tomcito had to change his training method.

Be open minded & u will save yourself a few bucks.

Last but not least, did u know that Tomcito is a Kentucky bred?

He ran okay in the Florida Derby, but certainly nothing to get too excited about and he really didn't prove The Bid wrong. I watched some of Tomcito's races prior to the Fla. Derby. Didn't he come off the pace there too, so why would his training be changed?

Who cares where he is bred? What does that matter?
It is important when it comes down to money. Just read and learn.

You want to make money? You start learning so that you don't miss on that trifecta next time.

U want to argue for the sake of arguing, to me personally that is a waste of your time & mine.

His training was changed because there is quite a difference in running 1 1/2 miles as a 2 1/2 year old going against 3 year olds than racing 1 1/8 miles against horses of his same age. If you saw the Derby Nacional at the distance of 1 1/2 miles, he was coming also from far behind the pace in a heavy track (I emphasize heavy). At Gulfstream they knew they had to be closer to the pace to have a better chance but Chavez screwed up.

Why did I tell you that he was a Kentucky bred? Can you figure that one out? Because he was used to the feed already in the United States and I don't think it will take him a long time to transition to the American feed again. Basically he is home.

Every horse racing fan or player is humbled everyday. We all know that there is not such a thing as "A Sure Bet".

When I was younger I thought I could pick every race.

Today I am older and wiser.

Only in your book a 3rd place finish in a Grade I race is a BAD race.

Let me ask you something, after you lose your last $9.95 in your pocket, will you be moving out of your basement and into a cardboard box down by the river? Don't forget the Charmin cause your crap definitely will stick to your new accommodations.

I never said it was a bad race. But the truth remains he was beat double digits in the race. So I'm not sure what book you've been reading, but it's not exactly the kind of thing that gets most people excited. Good luck with this and all other mediocre horses you tout.
I never said he was going to be Secretariat, but he is definitely a very good horse.

Which part was funny? The $9.95 that you don't have or the cardboard box that you can't afford? Don't forget to install a ceiling fan in your box, the summer is just a few months away.
