The Empire Maker-Roll Over Baby went for 245k I believe... very low price in comparison to what her siblings have brought and accomplished.

The Ruby Ransom-Empire Maker filly is in the ring. This is one of the best branches of Myrtlewood/Frizette around. Strong Canadian branch of that family.

I don't think the Indy/Serena's Song will sell well; the only comments the consigner made about him in the BH were about how the colt is not a fluent, good walker like SS's other offspring. He basically said that the colt would sell well if buyers can accept this major flaw.......Looking forward to the Mineshafts, though. I've heard the 1/2 to Jazil is nice, but I'm really excited about the Dear Birdie 1/2 to Birdtown.

If I could walk away w/ two horses from the sale my picks would be the sibling to Jazil & Leroidanimaux.

The Dear Birdie should sell well. I believe he goes through the ring tomorrow. We are about to find out about the Serena's Song colt... he's coming through the ring now.

No Mineshafts have sold yet, right? Thanks!

So far, seems like a rather humdrum sale except for the Storm Cats

Well the Serena's Song colt went for 1.5 mil. Disappointing to say the least. The Serena's Tune is next.

I'm a NY guy and I'm a value breeder. This sale is out of my realm but I'll be watching with interest.

Sumitas,
It's way over me too. Interesting.
All we need is a NY bred to be the next TC winner. Hope!
They'll be flocking.

Wow, I can't believe the Empire Maker filly out of Ruby Randsome (from the family of Amelia Bearheart) only went for $600K
