mammoth mountain ski resort opens tomorrow with a free day of skiing.

i'm bringing my rock ski's but i'm going. this looks like the start of a great season.

10 hours of driving and 4 hours of skiing.

It's actually pretty fun, but I absolutely hate cold weather so I only did it during spring skiing when you don't need a jacket.

I tried it once. Too damn cold and it got really boring fairly fast.

Ski for 20 feet, fall down, slide down remainder of slope on side in fetal position, ride lift back to top. Repeat.
I'd rather surf or water ski.

outside of girls way too young to be interested in me snowboarding in bikini tops, warm weather is the worst possible condition to ski in. grabby wet snow. crowds. sunburn.

buy a decent jacket and layer up.
