Well, I had dropped by Xpressbet earlier today, and thought they had Aqueduct - just looked and it's not on the menu.

Edit: From Xpressbet: "Racing from Aqueduct begins today on XpressBet. And we look forward to welcoming the rest of NYRA’s outstanding events from Belmont and Saratoga later this year."

No Aqueduct, was removed from menu

Twinspires won't take my bet on BL'S Fire Worden in the 1th, though they're just now showing the odds(they had me thinking the track cancelled due to rain)

So BTW or Steve - what's going on with the NY deal where the ADW's are notified 1/2 hour before post time they can't have the signal today?

I made some advanced bets this morning around 9 or so and it was working then... Thru Bet Pad. They refunded my $$ on the bets I made after the second race. My luck some of my picks will have come in and paid some good $$.. Course could be the other way as well and might have ended up saving me some $$..lol..

NYRA NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR WAGERING

Dear Betpad Customer:

Last night, NYRA received notice from the New York State Racing and Wagering Board that no new wagering outlets will be approved until further notice.
We assure you that every effort is being made to rectify the situation and will keep you apprised of the status. We apologize for the inconvenience...

NYRA is doing a shake down for alittle bag money. Old habits are hard to break.

Blame the NYS Racing and Wagering Board for this one. NYRA's not at fault here.

NYS can't even get the extension right. Pathetic, kind of funny. Not unexpected.

It is hilarious to me. What would make it epic if there were mob hits going on behind the scenes.

Account contracts await board approval
By DAVID GRENING

http://www.drf.com/news/article/91303.html

Though Aqueduct was open for business on New Year’s Day, fans who wished to wager on that track’s races via TVG, HRTV or Tracknet Media Group were shut out.

According to New York Racing Association officials, the New York State Racing and Wagering Board had not yet granted the necessary approvals for these contracts, which were finalized on Dec. 28. NYRA president Charlie Hayward said the board refused to address any of NYRA’s contracts before an agreement was reached that would allow NYRA to continue operating Aqueduct after Dec. 31, when its franchise was to expire. That agreement wasn’t finalized until mid-afternoon Monday, Hayward said.

Hayward said he is hopeful “all those guys will be back in the pool on Thursday.”

It looks like the NYSRWB worked a half day yesterday figuring they could address this matter on Wednesday.
