Default Predict the Preakness Field

Who's coming on from the Kentucky Derby, who's adding in as a newbie, and who from the Derby would you swear on the Queen's Derby hat won't head to the Preakness?

Obviously Street Sense is going if he's fine. I figure it's a no brainer that he, Hard Spun and Curlin should show up.

Finishing in the back isn't always the sign that they won't run well later. Haven't horses finished 16th in the KD and gone on to win the Preakness? Usually the KD winner in that case is a longshot seems like.

The Preakness field could be a field just as good as the Derby field. There are some nice horses who didnt go in the Derby that will go in the Preakness.

Air Commander
Flying First Class
Xchanger
Curlin
Street Sense
Hard Spun
King Of The Roxy
Rags To Riches (maybe, interesting, hopefully)
Chelokee
Slew's Tizzy

I think he'll give C.Q. another chance. Not sure how bad his traffic was, but he came from way back like SS and Ima.

Otherwise wait for the Belmont and bring back C.Q.

Rags to Riches has some appeal, but off of 2 weeks rest against the boys... do you really wanna ruin a good thing? Keep her goin against the girls.

Five starters? Hmmm.....
Tell Somerfrost there's another angle...don't bet a Pletcher jinx.

So, who do I think might be in the Preak?

Maybe Cobalt Blue. Look out for a CA bred here, though I hope SS take it and finally gives us a TC.

With no TC on the line, I wouldn't run back if I had Hard Spun or Curlin.
