People's lives depend on Tiger Woods. Why would his caddie let go of the man who feeds his family? Why would the average tour player who is buddies with Tiger Woods let go of the man who increased purses on the tour so that he can be a smaller millionaire himself? Why would television networks blast the single man who gives golf tournaments any ratings? Tiger affected other people's lives so positively, why would they want to change that? And now he's taking in indefinite break. Who knows if he'll ever come back? And what was his sin? Being horny? Our society is bringing him down because he can't control the sexual urges he was born with??? |

![]() That explanation is completely unrealistic.
When enough people know something so explosive it doesn't stay a secret for long. Not everyone on tour or otherwise likes/liked Tiger. I have a very difficult time believing that his behavior was so widely known. And there's absolutely no way he stays away forever. He's far too competitive to bring himself to that. I wonder what he'd choose between keeping Elin and quitting golf forever. |

I think he started his partying and wild life after he got married. And I think the more he did it, the more he enjoyed it and he just got wilder and wilder. I think we have a guy who started with a a couple of discreet affairs, and then he enjoyed it so much that he turned into an all-out womanizer. I think the last few years, his womanizing started spiraling out of control. |

So that's what we call behavior that has a guy trolling for strange when his wife is in labor with their second child.....sorry but you get red carded from the relationship for those fouls. He hasn't bottomed yet..... |

Just another case of a guy with near absolute power over far too much money and too many people becoming corrupt and untrustworthy. At some point he'll be held accountable for his substance abuse issues that contributed to the accident and he'll get a taste of discrimination most likely he never thought possible as more evidence of Tiger getting obliterated comes forth from his short term, pay for ladies. The sponsors will start disappearing by the dozen. The expense of these settlements and loss of income could be devastating. He wouldn't be the first excessively rich guy to blow it all on a set of circumstances like this. The privileges in life Tiger has due to the fact that he can hit and roll a little white ball perhaps better than anyone ever on the planet are very fleeting. Should the sponsors start to treat him like JDaly as this thing drags on a few more rounds and new episodes of Tiger blotto with the paid help will make an easy case for a very public need for a "focused recovery". Tiger will get mad and go into denial sending the sponsors for the hills especially with him not playing. The fine line between being the best golfer and being just good is not very much. I think it's possible Tiger might have more of an addiction issue than the media has highlighted so far. The fact that the guys impulse control is so horrendous with women is evidence of the same battle alcoholics and drug addicts fight everyday. It may be a mistake to assume that the night of his accidents (car to tree, car to hydrant) he didn't finally lose the ability to hide his substance abuse due to his meds and drinking. This out of control behavior has been likely escalating as well. Raise your hand if you downed an Ambien SR with alcohol and Percocet last night, as Tiger did apparently. Choosing to party with that mix and then get behind the wheel of your car is just stupid and dangerous. These are horrible choices like sending voice mail to women to take their names off of a phone seemingly not getting it that those messages would become YouTube classics. Who knows how long these examples of mixing intoxicants have been going on the way this guy disappears for long lengths of time publicly. Throw in some future propofol for problems sleeping that his ambien isn't fixing and we have a Michael Jackson type cocktail. The best thing that could happen here would be for the state of Florida to quietly take a look at who is writing what and for what disease for Mr Woods. If some concierge doc is just giving Tiger what he is demanding the whole situation may be more dangerous than people currently think especially if Tiger is now horribly depressed and choosing to self medicate himself. Tiger's current issues aren't just about new indoor records worthy of first ballot entry into the golfing Infidelity Hall of Shame. |

![]() Who does Tiger think he is, anyway? Babe Ruth? Mickey Mantle? Just think if they had his resources.
Tiger is far from the first, won't be the last. Too much, too soon, too easy. I hope he gets a handle on things, if not for himself, for his family. |

![]() I watched him because of great golf.
I do not care what he does off the golf course as long as he isn't raping anyone/murdering anyone/robbing banks!!! If he comes back, I will continue to support him. Maybe the gallery won't be so hectic around him anymore, and I can watch him up close and enjoy some great golf. What did the Bible say? "Let though with no sin cast the first stone" |

I don't think it was very smart for Phil to say anything. You never make yourself look good when you bad-mouth someone else. And in this situation, there is no reason to do it. Tiger has already made himself look bad enough. There is no reason for Phil to say anything. |

"Last Friday, Tiger Woods hit a tree with his SUV, and a bunch of ladies fell out"
