No. 1-2 on the road with 5 more road games. I'd rather have NO at 40-1.

Clearly these odds have no bearing on Vegas' actual feelings of who will make it out of the AFC. There is NO WAY Tennessee should be 3/1 and SD 9/2 at this point. The probability of SD (a) winning enough games to be better than a 4 seed and (b) running the table in the playoffs are much, much lower than 9/2 at this point, when compared to a team at 7-0 who is a virtual lock to make the playoffs and less than even money to get a protected seed. Perhaps my original line of 4/5 was a bit low but i'd still make them less than 2/1.

My guess is they were overloaded on SD early and are keeping the line low to discourage fliers at what really should be 10-1 or higher.

Look for my money,
Look for my watch and chain.
Look for my money,
You know she pawned my watch and chain.
Told the DA,
Even your name.

Besides, you fail to mention special teams.
Special teams arent considered offense. Where exactly were the Bears so much better than Tenn?

The titans offense is better than the bears offense two years ago that got them to the SB

This was your quote. I didnt say the bears were so much better. You made the claim that this Tennessee offense is better and that simply isnt true.

They are the 4th best rushing offense in the league. Where did Chicago rank in passing offense and rushing offense? Tenn is 9th in the league in offensive scoring.

Plus on an individual level I would take Collins over Rexy, the Titans backfield over the Bears, the Tenn TE over the Bears too. The only advantage Chicago had was a receiver.

Total offense the bears were 15th in the league. These titans are 23rd.

15th rushing and 14th passing.

The Bears were 2nd in the league in scoring that year with 427.

And they scored 56 points on defense and special teams not to mention were playing on short fields all the time due to hester. if you take those points away their offense was ranked about 10th. They did nothing very well. Tenn runs the ball as well as anyone in the league especially considering they have very weak receivers. Of course we are comparing a team who played an entire season versus a team who has played 7 games but i will stand by my statement that the titans are better offensively than the 06 bears.

Hey, if you want to say a team that is ranked 23rd in total offense is better than a team that ranked 15th we are all entitled to our opinions. If you want to say that a team that gained less yards in total offense is better than a team that gained more we are all entitled to our opinions.

The facts are the facts though.

And you know that running teams are always ranked lower in overall offensive standards because that is the nature of the beast. Teams can pass for 350 yards in a game and still get blown out. The yards become meaningless. Not to mention being ahead means keeping the ball on the ground eating up time. Like I said we will see where they are at the end of the season and then compare the numbers.

People often remember that Bears team as being offensively handicapped and that simply wasnt the case. Rex was better that year than people remember...in stretches. He was NFC offensive player of the month in september. He ended up throwing for over 3000 yards and 24 tds against 20 picks while playing in probably the worst place in the world for QB's in terms of the elements.

By the time the playoffs came around, the bears had lost many key defenders. They were no longer shutting teams down but rather outscoring them. The offense was explosive if not consistent.

Was it much better than this year's Titan offense? No...I wouldnt say that. But they were statisically better.
