Has anyone heard anything positive about Perfect Vow? He's owned by Steppenwolfer's connections so I assume he'll be taking the Oaklawn path if they are trying to get to the Derby two years in a row...

Agreed. When these stud farms are overraught with nothing but 1 year wonders, and that's certainly the trend - competition will dictate a demand for more proven stallions - and thus longer careers. I hate to see what we're seeing like everyone else, but like everything in a business, it will cycle around.

i quit this sport for good when they discuss how good a horse looked eating out of his hay net...or the stride he exhibited when stall-walking....

the quality of his wind (when he is screaming for the stable pony that keeps him calm) the agressiveness shown (when he bit the owner feeding him carrots) such a fire in his belly (when he kicked the blacksmith)...no need to run for a REAL horseman to know he is GREAT
