Vet said PI had dislocated an ankle without any breaking of the skin. Have to see how much soft tissue damage there is.

I must have misheard... I thought he said with some breaking of the skin which is why there's reason for concern of immediate infection.

Asi Siempre was surprising. Its a horrible situation but Balletto has been pushed to third and Asi Siempre pushed back to 4th.

He used the words 'very serious' and he did say the skin was broken and the ankle dislocated. Doesnt look very good at all...

Asi Siempre was way good enough to win but had a wall in front. yes, there was interference but i don't blame the jock for trying to make room there. awful luck for Asi Siempre.

Wow, Fleet Indian's injury is now considered "critical"... much worse than the original prognosis.

That's Terrible news I hope she pulls through. Been fan of her's since i saw her inperson at Philly Park in December. Was at the two races at Delaware two watch her live. She was big and magnificent looking filly. Hopefully she will recover to become a succesfull broodmare. She was supposed sold at Keeneland early next week.

Fleet Indian's injuries are soft tissue...no fractures.
Suspensory tendon.
I think she'll be ok.
Golly, I love this NY bred.
