We owe something to BGC in my opinion. the fact that he showed up and gave it his all against Bernardini helped us all to validate that ones true ability.
No shame at all in his effort, he was beaten only by a horse universally regarded as something very special, a freak.

He could've been out in 46 and change and they still wouldn't have caught him.

And with regards to Bluegrass Cat...this horse wasn't rested for the race and it showed. Don't give up on him yet.

not too hard to believe considering his behavior since they started trying to saddle him....and then his antics in the gate.

It was really nice to see Castellano reach out and and pat him on the neck, before the wire.

Great horse, Great race

Default Joel?

I'll bet Cunningham is in a full lather about this point.
His dream has come true, the dominance of the sheiks.

Bernardini did just what I knew he would do...annihilated them. Just to let you know just how fast Bernardini actually was...Flower Alley won the Travers last year in 2:02.76. Just thought that I would throw that out there even though it is a different year. The track may be playing a little faster this year.

Lava Man, Invasor, Bernardini...let's get it on for HOY honors and to see who runs second behind Flower Alley.
