Almost as embarrassing as the act (this should be) Gomez and Tagg put together.
the race looked like a paid workout for Imperial Council with a rabbit and a target, only IC failed to fire.

I think the Preakness is fascinating, especially with the addition of Rachel Alexandra(and the Borel "factor", whether real or misperceived)).

But the Belmont will better, with Charitable Man, Chocolate Candy, maybe Square Eddie, the Euro, etc.

Imperial Council has perfected the "loom boldly at the quarter pole only to hang" move. Tough to figure what (or if ) Gomez was thinking down the backstretch. Really a terrible ride.

Charitable Man stands a chance to have a very nice year and suddenly the mis-management of putting him in the Blue Grass means very little.

Two horses coming out of that race won today at Lone Star - the second, Mythical Power, won the Lone Star Derby and the horse who finished last won the Texas Stallion S for 3yo boys.

Good to see Charitable Man is back, he was an awfully nice two year old.
