Well with things like Derby Barbie, the Over/Under, and Matrix wager, how could you avoid betting on Churchill? All of the elements are there.

looks like the handle from the 5th race was about 35K, in the 6th race it went up to about 55k and the 7th race it went down to 25k or so. these arent exact numbers, just me adding up the chart totals. but apparently there was a noticeable difference.

We had about a 77% jump in handle from race 6 last week. From race 4 today we had about a 450% pool jump. It appears HANA members and other bettors showed up a little early to bet race 5 as it had larger than average pool numbers. Further, Will Rogers overall handle for 11 races was just below $250,000. The HANA/Mayo race alone represented about 20% of the entire cards handle.
