He was tremendous.....though sugar coating his loss to Talakeno, in the four horse field Baruch, is a bit much. He should have drowned that horse.

Turkey has been getting into TB racing strongly over the last couple of decades. A Turkish-bred champion was in the World Cup races recently, and I noticed an Italian group winner who had shipped in to run in one of their big-money races last year (he ran second). Since they race European style distances, a horse like Manila has a better shot at being a top sire there than in the 6-8f obsessed US.
