Great call of that race by Vic. He gets his share of grief around here but none of it is due to his race calling. He is one of the best out there in my opinion. Anyone know what is next for him?

Jay Hovdey, (who I admire as a writer a great deal), writes in his Monday piece with some bitterness at the final day proceedings. I think he misses the mark by a mile and comes across as very heavy-handed when talking about Vic's last call.
It was terrific!

There are some supporters trying to save the historic race track. Appealing to the Governor to make Hollywood Park the "Madison Square Garden of the West".
